Conduct regular inspections of waste management facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
Develop and implement waste management plans, policies, and procedures to improve waste handling and recycling practices.
Monitor and analyse waste data to identify areas for improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings.
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Laboratory teams to ensure proper internal and external waste handling in line with NEA requirements.
Train employees on proper waste handling, storage, segregation, and disposal procedures.
Maintain accurate records of waste activities, permits, inspections, reports, and compliance documentation.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, support environmental audits, and develop corrective action plans for any compliance gaps.
Keep updated on waste management regulations and industry best practices, recommending improvements and supporting ad hoc compliance activities.
Diploma and above in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
At least 2 years' experience in waste management and regulatory compliance.
