School District Position Description

Job Title: Part Time Daycare Worker

Qualification: Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Job Goal: Fulfill all duties and responsibilities as caregiver for children enrolled in Riverbank Elementary School's after school daycare program.

Report to: Daycare Supervisor

Performance Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a small group of children as their primary care provider
• Set up a physical environment conducive to school-aged children's growth and development
• Ensure the care, safety, and well-being of all children in the group
• Demonstrate knowledge of child development verbally and through role modeling
• Model appropriate interactions with young children for parents
• Participate in assigned training
• Perform duties necessary to maintain a quality program for students
• Establish a well-maintained, safe, and conducive learning environment

Physical Requirements: Mostly light work involving walking, bending, sitting, or standing; may occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
