Manufacturing Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: West Columbia, SC

Pay: Up to $42/hr

Schedule: Full-time, Onsite

We are partnered with a global leader in critical power solutions supporting major data center customers. As production rapidly scales, we’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who can help develop and optimize the processes behind their next‑generation critical power units
.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long‑term growth potential.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing processes for critical power assemblies (PDUs, switch gear, cabling systems, power bars, etc.).
  • Design processes that meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Analyze workflows, labor requirements, and space utilization to design efficient workstations and production layouts.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure manufacturability and smooth process flow.
  • Work with customers to review product specifications and respond to engineering requests.
What They’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (ideally with 1+ year of experience).
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
    —open to entry‑level but hands‑on exposure is needed.
  • Ability to interpret CAD drawings and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with testing tools (oscilloscopes, harness testers, logic analyzers) is a plus.
