Air Carolinas, part of the AIR Control Concepts family, offers a chance to support senior estimators and the Sales Team by performing quantity take‑offs, collecting vendor pricing, and ensuring detailed documentation of cost estimates for HVAC systems.

• Gain knowledge of vendor products.
• Assist with material take‑offs and labor cost calculations for HVAC projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications.
• Gather pricing quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
• Input cost data into estimating software and spreadsheets.
• Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards and building codes.
• Work with the Salesperson to secure engineer approval to quote if products are not listed.
• Field calls into the office and handle as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 1‑2 years in HVAC, construction estimating, or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and piping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Plan Swift, Blue Beam, and estimating software.
• Strong computer skills including email, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.

• Remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time while operating computer and performing office work.
• Move about inside office and at work sites.
• Operate computer and office productivity machinery.
• Lift and/or move up to 15 pounds (occasionally up to 25 pounds).
• Review work for errors and make adjustments.
• Work in low to moderate noise level environments, occasionally high at sites.
