- Design and oversee a diverse calendar of meaningful activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Organize and lead community outings aligned with residents’ preferences.
- Welcome new residents and families, providing orientation to community lifestyle.
- Communicate upcoming events through monthly and weekly calendars, active promotion, and personal invitations.
- Facilitate Life Enrichment Committee sessions, incorporating resident feedback.
- Track and document resident participation and provide metrics for care planning.
- Manage activity supplies, inventory, and monthly budget spend‑down.
- Drive the community bus for scenic rides and outings; serve as backup driver for emergencies.
- Collaborate with all departments to foster teamwork and assist with special events and emergency coverage.
- Associate Degree in Human Services, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or other related field or National Certification as an Activity Professional.
- At least 2 years of experience in leading group activities in a Senior Living setting or similar environment.
- Skills, talent and interest in performing arts, arts and crafts, fitness/wellness, music, creative writing, etc.
- Strong computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license issued by the State of South Carolina.
