Description Of Position

The Outside Retail Sales Representative will be responsible for generating profitable business by managing sales within TEC Equipment Company.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Develop an assigned territory, implement retail-focused sales plans to grow business, maintain current customer base, and actively promote the TEC brand. Main focus will be on selling Takeuchi compact construction equipment and attachments.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with customers, acting as a key point of contact;
    Engage in regular follow-up conversations within a set cycle;
    Develop new accounts and maintain existing accounts. Delivering exceptional service in aspects of your day.
  • Prepare sales plans and strategies, sales reports, and expense reports. Demonstrate an ability to communicate said plans and reports to the team and to leadership on a regular basis.
  • Ensure and maintain positive and thorough communications with management, co-workers, and marketing regarding new equipment, equipment availability, and retail programs.
  • Possess working knowledge of equipment capabilities and maintenance basics.
  • Assist in collecting payments from customers and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Sell and quote products to customers in person, on the phone and via email;
    Work within computer system for order entry, quotes, and checking product availability/pricing.
