Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering outstanding customer service. - Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location, using electronic systems and manual verification processes as required.
- Provide security-related customer service by following site-specific procedures and guidelines when interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating issues as necessary.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Assist with emergency response activities by coordinating with site representatives and Allied Universal management as appropriate.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and daily operations as required by the site.
- Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding any security-related matters or concerns.
- Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
