As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access control and alarm systems, and respond to security-related concerns. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, entry points, loading areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.

+ Support a professional environment by communicating clearly, documenting observations, and escalating security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

+ Have customer service experience, preferred.

+ Have alarm panel experience, preferred.

+ Have access control and badge experience, preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
