The Orkin Pro commits to safely and professionally providing the highest level of protection and service to customers on a designated service route. Your day will include:

• Complete award-winning training to acquire the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation plan within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
• Operate a company vehicle safely, maintaining its cleanliness and that of the equipment.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Act as a problem solver for each customer, listening to and understanding their needs, and recommending the most efficient and innovative solutions.
• Meet customers in their homes or businesses to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property (we’ll teach you how!).
• Communicate with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that give them peace of mind about their pest management program.
• Complete all required service-related documentation on a handheld device for speed and accuracy.

• No experience required – we’ll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers inside their businesses and/or homes.

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions.
