Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you will ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned and safe before they hit the road again. You will be the face of Penske—greeting customers and sending them off with a smile.
No experience is required. We will train you in vehicle maintenance processes and technology. The training and experience gained can advance you to a technician role. Penske offers career stability and competitive benefits.
Main Responsibilities- Greeting customers and ensuring a positive experience while fueling and washing vehicles
- Performing vehicle readiness inspections to confirm tires, fluids and other basic maintenance items are complete
- Keeping facilities clean and safe for customers and associates
- Participating in training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires and performing preventive maintenance repairs
- Completing other projects and tasks assigned by a supervisor

- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to work outside
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
- Must understand and comply with specified instructions, guidelines and regulations set by Penske management
- Must adhere to DOT, OSHA and all Penske safety and maintenance policies, including correct tool selection, PPE, machine guarding and best safety practices
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
- Role requires driving Penske and customer vehicles, thus regulation by the DOT and maintenance of a current driver qualification file, annual MVR checks, DOT Physical, Safety Performance History records, CDL drug screening within 30 days of start, FMCSA Clearinghouse review, and travel for training
- Willingness to work required schedule, specific location, complete Penske application, background screening (criminal, employment and education checks), pass a drug screen and physical, and possible near‑geography travel for training
- Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods during shifts
- Use hands daily to grasp, reach, manipulate tools and controls
- Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
- Work safely in all weather conditions
- See and hear safely within the work environment surrounded by large trucks
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
