The successful candidate will be in charge of planning and executing strategies for the day-to-day operations of the Rooms Division. This includes overseeing the Front Office, Guest Services, and Housekeeping Departments to maintain the established service standard across the group of resorts.
Responsibilities- Coordinating activities to ensure the effective management of rooms and public spaces
- Liaising with the Learning and Development team to identify and coordinate training requirements for the Rooms Division
- Developing, implementing and reviewing operational policies and procedures
- Developing and implementing new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to enhance the guest experience
- Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and business standards
- Assisting with managing relationships with key operations vendors
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality and Tourism, Resort Management or any other related field
- At least eight years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality and resort management or any other related field
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with automated Rooms Division‑related systems
- CARICOM Skills Certificate would be an asset
