** Job Overview
** The LVN provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician. The LVN tasks include vital signs, phlebotomy, gathering data, and medication administration. The LVN verifies medication for Medical Assistants within the LVN's scope of practice.
** Minimum Requirements
*** Graduation from an accredited LVN school with a current LVN license issued by the State of California, Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
* Preferred 1 year of providing patient care outpatient/inpatient, Skilled Nursing, Home Health, or clinic setting.
* IV certified preferred.
* Preferred wound care experience.
* Experience and knowledge regarding the physical, mental, and social needs of the patients.
* Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
* A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
