Allied Universal® Event Services is seeking an Event Security Guard to perform key security duties at events, festivals, and convention shows in Los Angeles County. The position is part‑time, $18 /hr, with flexible scheduling that fits student, retiree, or anyone seeking a dynamic, part‑time job.

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Control venue access by scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic in and out of the venue.
• Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and .
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring security breaches at vital checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to potential crowd control issues and provide escorts for unruly guests when ejection is warranted.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of venue policies, procedures and regulations.
• Deliver a positive experience for guests as they arrive at your facility entrance and concourse areas.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and a post‑offer/pre‑employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Independent judgment and discretion.
