Certified Personal Trainer

Overview

Gold's Gym SoCal Group is hiring a Full Time Certified Personal Trainer
. Join our team to help members achieve a healthy lifestyle with world-class service.

• Conduct fitness assessments and design exercise programs tailored to clients' goals.
• Assist clients with exercises to minimize injury and modify programs according to fitness levels.
• Monitor client progress, provide motivation and feedback.
• Provide information on general fitness, trends, and health issues to benefit members.
• Demonstrate and teach exercises with proper technique to improve safety and effectiveness.
• Promote and sell identified personal training programs, supplements, and services.
• Participate in all scheduled meetings as required.

• Must be certified by NASM, ACSM, ACE, or NSCA.
• High school diploma (some college coursework preferred).
• Excellent communication and hospitality abilities.
• Knowledge of anatomy, functional exercise, basic nutrition, and basic exercise science.
• Able to achieve and maintain goals; able to stay current on certifications and trends.
• CPR/AED Certification.

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 35 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maintain a professional demeanor and appearance in a clean uniform.

Compensation: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour.
