Instructional Design Intern - Summer 2027 The Instructional Design Intern plays a key role in supporting the PC Performance training team. Partnering with experienced professionals in the field of Instructional Design, the individual will create effective training materials for our business partners in Claims and Underwriting. What You'll Do:
Design training presentations, materials, and resources. Assist with preparation for in-person and online training events. Use instructional design applications to build and manage content. Share creative and innovative ideas, contribute to team meeting discussions, and build lasting networking connections. We are looking for two (2) interns to join our team this summer! As an intern, you will also participate in corporate activities designed to provide exposure to our industry, organization, and culture.

Our internship program follows an 80/10/10approach: 80% of your time will be spent performing meaningful work and project-based assignments within your department. 10% of your time will be dedicated to learning from and networking with employees in other areas of the organization. 10% of your time will be spent participating in shared internship experiences that provide insight into our culture, leadership, and business operations.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:
Be a current college student (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status).

Experience with instructional design tools and software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint), and Articulate 360 preferred but not needed. Be dependable, organized, and proactive. Maintain effective communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and be team focused. Learn quickly and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Be able to work full-time in-person from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
