Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Technician to join our data center design team across the United States.

$66,000.00/yr - $90,800.00/yr

As an Electrical Design Technician, you will collaborate with Revit Technicians, Designers, Engineers, and Architects to create and document detailed drawings for MEP systems in facility design projects using Revit and AutoCAD. You will support and enhance project templates, manage central and local files, and ensure accurate construction documentation.

• Prepare and update construction drawings for MEP systems.
• Maintain and customize project templates and set‑up in Revit.
• Manage work‑sets, control visibility, and apply parameters in Revit families and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve design issues and support project deliverables.
• Follow industry standards and company processes to ensure high‑quality documentation.

• At least 7 years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD for building‑related designs.
• B.S. degree reduces the experience requirement by 1‑2 years.
• Proficiency in creating and updating templates and project set‑up in Revit.
• Experience with central file management and local files.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong skills with Revit 2017/2018, BIM
  360, Autodesk Navisworks, and BIM 360 GLUE.
• US citizenship.
