Independent Risk Management Officer

Contract Duration: 12 months
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of risk experience, or equivalent through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 7+ years of operational risk experience, or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Ability to complete analytical work with data to support decision‑making and explain resolution of complex problems.
- Advanced understanding of operational risk and governance, preferably in an oversight role.
- Experience presenting results of operational risk monitoring and emerging risk to executive leadership.
- Experience in auto lending and associated processes.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large‑scale planning for independent risk management, such as credit risk, independent testing, or operational risk.
- Review and analyze complex multi‑faced, large‑scale, or longer‑term independent risk management challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex, multi‑faced situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
