Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain complex financial modeling and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor financial metrics around revenue, sales operations, and business performance.
  • Review and analyze complex financial data to identify trends and insights, ensuring compliance with internal and external metrics.
  • Perform standard financial analysis, including budget-to-actual comparisons and financial forecasting using prescribed systems and workflows.
  • Lead the annual budget planning, aggregation, and consolidation process for assigned areas.
  • Coordinate and liaison with internal leaders regarding budgeting, forecasting, and spend management, including personnel and headcount planning.
  • Perform audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Timely resolve finance and accounting-related issues and questions for assigned areas.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills to effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education & Licensing: Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Finance or Accounting. CPA or CFA designation a plus.

Experience: 3-4 years of finance experience, preferably in the insurance industry. Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess robust financial knowledge and principles, applying these to deliver accurate and high-quality work. They should demonstrate excellent analytical skills, capable of identifying opportunities or root causes and developing effective solutions. Additionally, the candidate should have a thorough understanding of workflows and systems, actively contributing to processes and ensuring compliance while delivering exceptional client experiences.
