Overview
Join to apply for the Retina Doctor Assistant role at Wolfe Eye Clinic. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Doctor Assistant to assist in our Retina Department. Successful candidate will have their CMA or CNA.
Responsibilities- Assist physician with exams
- Room patients and obtain medical histories
- Document in electronic medical record
- Provide patient education
- Scribing and Coding for the physician
- Triage phone calls and respond to tasks
- Perform other clinical duties as needed
- Previous experience in a medical office
- Previous experience with an electronic medical record or medical office software
- Ability to effectively enter information into a variety of computer programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to provide excellent patient service
Daytime travel within the state of Iowa is required. When traveling outside your base clinic, travel time will be compensated, and mileage will be reimbursed.
