Opportunity for Behavior Technician (BT)

Midwest Autism Therapy is looking for a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team! We are a passionate ABA company dedicated to transforming lives through evidence-based practices. • Training and support for obtaining RBT certification (exam fees paid)

• Full‑time hours: 30–40 per week, Monday – Friday

• Provide center‑based direct care to clients as outlined in the treatment plan
• Work with families and children from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, and economic statuses
• Collect data during client sessions and complete daily notes for each session by the end of the day
• Communicate with caregivers and other supports at pick‑up and drop‑off
• Maintain constant communication with the leadership team, including BCBA, Lead RBT, and Program Manager
• Perform other special projects and additional duties as assigned

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree
• Reliable transportation
• Outgoing personality with high energy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time‑management skills
• Pass clinical background check
• CPR/First aid certification within first 3 months of employment
• RBT certification preferred (but not required)

• Ability to run, crouch, squat, kneel, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and move quickly between positions without support
• Full range of motion of hands and arms; ability to sit on the floor or chair for long periods
