Position OverviewThe Sr. Manager’s primary responsibility will be to assist in the management of daily operations within the NOC. Primary focus will be either Change Management or Incident Management. Candidate will participate as a team member in defining and implementing monitoring solutions as well as policies and procedures used in the day to day operations in the NOC.

- Responsible for ensuring continuous process improvement, procedures and workflow integration within the NOC and other support groups.
- Manage their respective group, each group containing a tiered structure of support.
- Collaborate with other internal organization such as Customer Care, OSS Engineering, IT and business units to resolve issues and to bring about improvements within the business.
- Communicate technical as well as business issues and status to management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to work under stress and follow detailed procedures, as well as possess good decision-making skills.
- 2+ years of experience working with Network Management Technologies.
- 1+ year experience working in a NOC operations.
- Functional knowledge of Change Management.
- Functional knowledge of Incident Management.
- Functional knowledge of ITIL, certification preferred.
- Understanding of LAN/WAN infrastructures.
- Understanding of NT, Solaris and database technologies.
- Previous Cable TV/Broadband and/or Telecommunications experience a plus.
- Experience with ARS Remedy architecture and its applications (Help Desk/Change Modules).
- Understanding of VoIP, High Speed Data infrastructure components.
- Proactive, can-do attitude with excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must have motivational skills and people management skills.
- Detail and team oriented.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $95,000 a year. When making a job offer, we consider several factors in our determination, such as years of related work experience; relevant skills and qualifications; education level; and certifications/licenses.
