** Associate Underwriter

* Essential Responsibilities:

*** Assist with account setup and maintenance in underwriting systems, ensuring accurate data entry and document tracking.
* Support underwriting decisions by reviewing client operations, analyzing risk profiles, and conducting industry research.
* Prepare reporting deliverables such as bordereaux (BDX) reports, premium summaries, and underwriting analytics.
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including technology-driven solutions like AI and automation.
* Review endorsement transactions, cancellations, and non-renewals for compliance with guidelines.
* Provide clear, timely, and professional communication to agency personnel.
* Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.

* Qualifications:

* Education:

** College degree required.
* *
* Experience:

** 2–4 years in insurance preferred (for Associate Underwriter track).
* Active Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret underwriting guidelines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with insurance systems a plus.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
