Outstanding long‑term contract opportunity! A well‑known Financial Services Company is looking for a Loan Workout Specialist / Legal Assistant in West Des Moines, IA (Hybrid).

Contract Duration: 12 Months contract to hire

• Support the legal remedies team by pulling media for loans that will support the litigation process of defaulted accounts. Partner with the team that does similar work and the external law firms we do business with.

• Someone who can understand change, adapt quickly, and apply updated instructions correctly every time.
• Legal services exposure
• Law firm, litigation support, paralegal, legal assistant, CPA, tax firm, or similar
• Strong ability to interpret legal documents
• Comfortable working with attorneys and outside law firms
• All communications written (no phone)
• Proven attention to detail
• Can handle moderate to low‑risk compliance/regulatory work
• Adaptable when policies change quickly

• Process moderate to low‑risk legal transactions
• Review account requests in ECAR (oldest ? newest)
• Interpret legal documentation and apply correct actions
• Update account reporting accurately
• Notify outside attorneys and firms as cases move through legal stages
• Prioritize requests when documentation dictates urgency
• Ensure Wells Fargo systems reflect current, correct information
