Business Center Claims Manager

As a Business Center Claims Manager, you will manage claim service representatives within the state of Iowa. You will be a vital part of the claims team by assisting in claims training, management, and compliance. You will assist in establishing procedures and expectations for the handling of these claims. You will also oversee all staff development aspects including but not limited to the selection, training/development and disciplining/performance review of employees.

• College degree or equivalent plus eight years of relevant experience is required. Previous management/leadership experience is preferred.
• Associate in Claims (AIC) and IIA designations required. Continued progress toward and achievement of industry designation/education is expected.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including exceptional customer service skills.
• Must have strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of tort law is required.
• Travel may be required (including overnight).
