Superintendent, Data Centre - Project & Construction Management Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team, specializing in Data Centre Project & Construction Management. This role is integral to the successful delivery of complex, high-value data centre projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee all on-site construction activities for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, proactively addressing any potential delays or cost overruns.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork on-site.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, with a focus on data centre or mission-critical facilities.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials, particularly in the context of data centres.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or safety are highly desirable.
