SummaryWe are looking for educators excited to work with our elementary learners for the school year! The Elementary Primary Classroom Educator (Grades 1-2) creates an engaging, nurturing, and safe learning environment that promotes learners' physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. The role involves providing instruction in academics, future-ready skills, knowledge, and dispositions to foster compassionate, lifelong learners and contributing citizens in a rapidly changing world.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities(Other duties may be assigned)

- Reflection: Understands diverse learner needs, maintains communication with supervisors about feedback and growth.
- Resilience: Maintains composure under stress, seeks resolutions proactively.
- Responsibility: Utilizes curriculum and behavioral plans, plans tailored programs, fosters a safe environment, and adheres to legal requirements.
Requires reaching, standing, walking, bending, talking, hearing, occasional lifting (~30 pounds), and working with various noise levels. Contact with bodily fluids is rare.
Education and Experience- North Dakota Teaching License for elementary grades 1-2
- Bachelor's Degree in elementary education
- Experience or knowledge of PCBL and Restorative Practices
- Experience managing complex learner behaviors and working in elementary settings preferred
- Effective communication and confidentiality
- Punctuality and good judgment
