The Senior Financial Accountant will be part of a team of professionals working to provide accurate, timely financial reporting of the Company’s financial results. In this role you will analyze financial statements, conduct financial reviews of revenue, expenses, overhead, reconcile account balances, calculate accounting estimates, and provide various financial support to the enterprise.

Responsibilities- Analyze monthly financial statements and present financial results to various leaders within the company.
- Perform account reconciliations/reviews.
- Compile data into financial reports, analyses, and create new financial reports as required.
- Manage the general ledger to ensure integrity of financial information and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of the firm’s operating budgets, capital expenditure budgets, and financial modeling.
- Develop and calculate significant, complex accounting estimates.
- Calculate bonuses and profit‑sharing estimates based on personnel compensation plans.
- Assist in the monthly and yearly closing processes.
- Record and review recurring journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of the company’s compliance and regulatory audits.
- Identify and report accounting related issues to appropriate management.
- Ensure accuracy and timely processing of financial information.
- Exemplify teamwork and camaraderie.
- Work with department managers and other enterprise personnel on a daily basis providing accounting support.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
- Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of Vistal.
- Proactively seek and participate in available company‑sponsored training in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
- Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including huddles, department meetings, and other related efforts.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus
- 7+ years of diversified accounting experience, including financial analysis experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong analytical skills

- Up to 10% travel
- Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
