Operations Accountant (Hybrid)

- Lead inventory accounting and maintain accurate inventory controls and reconciliations
- Oversee and audit physical inventory processes
- Manage fixed asset accounting and plant asset controls
- Perform inventory analysis and identify operational improvement opportunities
- Support cost reduction initiatives and material usage analysis
- Develop and administer plant budgets and forecasts
- Analyze financial statements and present recommendations to management
- Provide plant leadership with financial and operational reporting
- Support accounts payable, inventory control, and general accounting functions
- Monitor financial performance and assist in strategic decision-making
- Participate as a key member of the plant leadership team
- Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements are met
- Support payroll-related issue resolution and reporting requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
- Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements and operational reporting
- Experience working closely with operations and plant leadership
- Strong Excel and ERP system experience
- Ability to identify process improvements and drive results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and inventory controls
- Ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations
- Comfortable partnering with plant managers and operational leaders
- Self-starter who enjoys identifying opportunities and implementing change
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
