Child Care Lead Teacher at Bright Path Early Learning & Child Care

We’re looking for a dedicated Lead Teacher to help create a nurturing home-like environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. No evenings or weekends. Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and supervision of children in one assigned classroom.
  • Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
  • Plan and implement programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
  • Maintain a clean, warm, and safe environment that encourages exploration.
  • Partner with families to develop individualized care and education plans.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child’s progress.

Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Head Teacher certification, 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses, or Bachelor’s Degree (required).
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized.
  • Availability during regular operating hours.
  • Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
