Description

We’re a warm, thoughtful family of four with two children (ages 6 and 20 months) along with a mini golden doodle. With two demanding careers, a full household, and active kids, we’re seeking steady, proactive help to bring ease and rhythm to our home — especially around food, organization, and daily logistics. We’re looking for someone who can help our family feel supported and nourished — someone to manage meal prep, laundry, errands, and light organization, so our evenings can be focused on connection instead of household chores.

Key Responsibilities Meal Planning & Preparation
  • Plan and prep 4–6 meals per week (mix of fresh meals (1‑3) and frozen meals (2‑3) family‑style dinners).
  • Prep pre‑made breakfast and pack daily school lunches for children.
  • Grocery shop and manage pantry and fridge inventory.
  • Follow dietary guidelines (peanut, tree nut, and sesame‑free home).
  • Maintain kitchen organization and handle full cleanup post‑prep.
  • Manage dishes, kids’ dishware, and daily kitchen resets.
Laundry & Linen Care
  • Wash, dry, fold, organize, and put away family laundry.
  • Iron or steam items as needed.
  • Maintain tidy laundry systems and fully stocked supplies.
Inventory Management & Errands
  • Run errands: grocery shopping, pharmacy, Amazon returns, etc.
  • Post or sell items no longer needed (e.g., Facebook Marketplace).
  • Manage household orders (e.g., Amazon, BJs, Target) and update running household lists.
Pet Care
  • Provide one mandatory 30–40 minute daily walk around 2/3PM and a short midday walk around 12PM, as needed.
  • Maintain pet supplies and note when reorders are needed.
Household Management & Organization
  • Maintain household systems (closets, pantry, storage, play areas, etc.).
  • Reset and tidy rooms daily; ensure the home is ready for biweekly cleaning service.
  • Source and manage kids’ clothing, handle wardrobe changeovers.
  • Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding).
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop‑offs and pick‑ups.
  • Support packing and unpacking for family travel.
Gift Purchasing & Wrapping
  • Propose thoughtful gift ideas for family members, friends, and special occasions (birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, etc).
  • Purchase gifts based on family preferences, interests, and any specific requests.
  • Organize gift wrapping and ensure all gifts are neatly wrapped and prepared for giving.
Vendor & Property Oversight
  • Supervise and coordinate with service providers (cleaners, contractors, landscapers, etc).
  • Support with household projects (e.g., mudroom/powder room remodel, front patio updates).
  • Research, coordinate, and present repair or project quotes for family approval.
  • Manage timelines and communicate status updates for home improvement projects.
  • Oversee outdoor and seasonal property maintenance.
Family Support & Child Assistance
  • Potential future support with school pickups or after‑school transitions.
  • Light supervision or playtime when assisting with early pickups.
  • Prepare backpacks, lunches/snacks, or clothing for school, as needed.
  • Prepare/organize items for weekly family and school events (prepare pot‑lucks, purchase special outfits, purchase/pack items for special events, etc).
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
  • Deep clean key areas (fridge, oven, washing machine) periodically.
  • Refresh and organize high‑traffic zones (mudroom, garage, play areas).
  • Clean humidifiers, air purifiers, and washing machines monthly.
  • Switch air filters quarterly and smoke detector batteries every 6 months.
  • Manage project‑based organization (toy rotation, décor swaps).
  • Organize and purge items no longer needed from storage…
