We are currently searching for a highly motivated Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist to join our team at the Oscar Gonzalez, DDS location. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and possess the ability to multitask.
Position Overview
The Treatment Coordinator is a liaison between the doctor and the patient. They assist in gathering information in the new patient experience, coordinate treatment plans with the doctor, present them to patients, and negotiate financial arrangements. They provide a calm and warm environment for patients who are otherwise anxious and concerned about affordability. They also coordinate, as needed, with other offices that share in the care of patients, ensuring referrals and correspondence are received and followed up on.
Responsibilities- Greet & check in patients
- Handle heavy phone volume
- Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
- Act as a liaison between patients & doctors
- Enter patient treatment plans
- Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
- Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
- Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
- General office duties (printing/faxing/computer data entry, etc.)

- Dental reception experience
- Excellent computer skills

- Ability to work within current office hours; shifts to be determined, including up to two evenings per week and two Saturdays per month.
