Overview
West Hartford Public Schools seeks to fill a full-time interim Intensive Academic Special Education Teacher position at Conard High School. The role requires strong experience instructing students with significant cognitive delays and the ability to manage and train support staff, while collaborating with general education teachers and the pupil services team. Knowledge of ABA therapy and related tools is preferred. The anticipated end of the assignment is through the end of the 25-26 school year.
Responsibilities- Instruct students with significant cognitive delays.
- Manage and train support staff.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and the pupil services team.
- Must hold appropriate CT Certification (165).
- Experience with ABA/DTI preferred; knowledge of ABA therapy, VB-MAPP, PEAK, AIM, and AFLS preferred.
- Strong ability to work in a team and support students within an inclusive setting.

Compensation and BenefitsExcellent salary, benefits and working conditions. Salary is negotiable per the teacher s salary schedule.
