About the RoleBohler’s West Hartford office seeks a Design Engineer to support site‑design projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to create practical, buildable, creative solutions.
What You’ll Do- Assist in preparing site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management plans.
- Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver coordinated design packages.
- Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies.
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help solve engineering challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience in land development design (internship or full‑time).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles.
- Attention to detail and curiosity to learn new tools and methods.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
