Insurance Defense Attorney

Our client, a boutique law firm with offices throughout New England, has an immediate need for an experienced Insurance Defense/Tort Litigation Attorney, to join our winning team in West Hartford.

The role is designed for a skilled legal professional with 3-5 years of experience in Asbestos Defense and Mass Tort Litigation. Caseload involved complex cases related to asbestos and toxic torts, providing expert legal advice, and representing clients throughout the litigation process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct legal research
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties
• Prepare for and represent clients in court proceedings

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Connecticut License
• 3-5 years of experience in Defense Asbestos & Mass Tort Litigation
• Expertise in handling civil litigation cases related to asbestos/toxic torts
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
