Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Part-Time Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in preparing and filing individual and small business income tax returns accurately and efficiently. This role is perfect for someone with tax experience looking for flexible, part-time work during tax season (and possibly beyond).
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in tax preparation (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Knowledge of current federal and state tax laws
- Familiarity with tax software
- PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet filing deadlines
