Clinician - Family & Children Services​/Part Time

Position Overview

Bridges Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for a part‑time Clinician for Family & Children Services in our West Haven Office.

Part‑time, 19 hours per week, non‑benefited position.

Must be available to work afternoon and evenings, Monday and Wednesday until 7 pm is required.

$60 per hour.

Provide mental health and addiction services to assist clients in identifying and attaining their stated goals.

• Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment to individuals, groups and families.
• Maintain client records.
• Serve as liaison with outside services and referral sources.
• Supervise, coach and provide guidance to Student Interns as assigned.
• Perform any other department or agency‑related duties or special projects as directed by supervisor.

• Master's degree in behavioral health required.
• Associate license required.
• Knowledge of psychiatric illness and substance abuse.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience in counseling/therapeutic methods and practices.
• Ability to prioritize and organize schedules/demands.
• Access to reliable transportation on a consistent basis.

Bridges is STAR‑LRP and HRSA Approved, and some positions may be eligible for loan repayment through these programs.
