Quality Assurance Lab Technician

• Assist with quality issues on the factory floor
• Assist with wiring of luminaires
• Assist with LED driver programming
• Assist with evaluation of luminaire quality issues returned from the field
• Create and maintain a log of open quality issues in the field (requires a working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel)
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized QA lab
• Assist with preparing samples for submission to CSA or ETL for safety certification
• Assist with thermal and electrical testing of luminaires
• A student currently studying electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred

• Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Vision Inspection Systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, HACCP, and other relevant quality standards is preferred.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
