Retail & Store Manager, Customer Service Rep
(USA) Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee – Walmart
PayBase pay range: $31.00/hr – $38.00/hr.
Hourly wage range: $31.25 – $38.46/hr the actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates while touring stores and providing feedback.
Tour-to-Teach communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model and managing customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs.
Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved successfully and develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies.
Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL (Profit & Loss) statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, and monitoring sales.
Ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and setting clear expectations, while promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace and recruiting qualified associates.
Coordinates job‑related activities with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports company mission and values, and implements related action plans using the Open Door Policy.
Creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging and the elimination of waste, local giving, and regenerative initiatives.

- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For firearms‑selling facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition with state‑specific requirements: completion of a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities.
