Financial Operations & Relationship Manager

Job Summary

The Financial Operations & Relationship Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations while managing and strengthening relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders. This role combines operational finance, reporting, compliance, and client-facing responsibilities to ensure financial accuracy, efficiency, and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities Financial Operations
  • Work with the director to oversee day-to-day financial operations, including billing, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and cash flow management
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards
  • Coordinate with accounting, finance, and external auditors to maintain accurate financial records
  • Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost control
Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key partners on financial and operational matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular communication and support
  • Address client inquiries related to contracts, pricing, invoicing, and financial performance
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership teams to align financial solutions with client needs
  • Support contract negotiations, renewals, and onboarding from a financial perspective
Strategic & Analytical Support
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management
  • Monitor KPIs and client profitability to support strategic decision-making
  • Assist in developing financial strategies that support business growth and client retention
Qualifications & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or relationship management
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
