Position Overview
We are seeking a Paint Tinter/Warehouse Associate to join our team! In this role, you will mix automotive refinishing materials according to supplier formulas, ensuring accuracy and maintaining a clean work environment. Additional responsibilities include shipping and receiving, stocking products, operating a forklift, assisting with picking customer orders, and inventory management. Attention to detail is crucial for both paint mixing and warehouse tasks.

Primary Responsibilities
- Mix refinish materials according to paint supplier formulas, ensuring accurate measurements and product consistency.
- Provide customer service by answering questions about product features, prices, availability, and uses, and handle complaints professionally.
- Lift and maneuver paint containers up to 50 pounds using proper tools and follow safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving freight, stocking shelves, rotating products, and performing inventory cycle counting.
- Operate a forklift to move stock, perform shipping duties, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Promote safety awareness, continuous improvement, and proper handling of hazardous materials, including cleaning spills and following safety procedures.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and possess strong accuracy, self‑motivation, and problem‑solving skills. Effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential, along with the ability to analyze information and make decisions. The ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks efficiently, and manage time effectively is also important. The candidate should be punctual, detail‑oriented, a team player, and open to learning new skills.
The role requires handling physical tasks, including standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying materials, and using forklifts. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and interacting with both customers and coworkers in a professional and business‑like manner.
