Our client is a boutique talent management firm in Los Angeles that is hiring a Senior Accountant in a newly-created role!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant/Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be involved in the full-cycle month-end close process across multiple entities and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with various departments and have the opportunity to contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full-cycle month-end close process for multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and record accruals in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries.
• Process and reconcile employee expense reports using Concur.
• Support the accurate recording and reconciliation of commissions.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis.
• Contribute to the maintenance of accurate financial records and documentation.
• Participate in the implementation and optimization of Net Suite (or other financial systems).
• Support team during audits by preparing requested documents and providing explanations.
• Assist with high-volume transaction processing.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with full-cycle month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software.
• Experience with Concur or similar expense management software is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
