Senior Accounting Manager The Hiring Advisors LLC

We're looking for a Senior Accounting Manager who can make sense of the details, bring clarity to the big picture, and help drive smart financial decisions in a fast‑growing, creative, manufacturing business based in West Hollywood. This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable deep‑diving into reconciliations, partnering with cross‑functional teams to keep the business moving forward.

You'll oversee financial reporting, inventory accounting, and month‑end close while also helping streamline processes, improve systems, and support growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly and year‑end close, ensuring accurate GAAP‑compliant reporting.
  • Own inventory accounting, costing, and valuation across multiple channels.
  • Prepare budget‑to‑actual variance analysis and deliver insights to leadership.
  • Manage payroll, sales & use tax compliance, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with operations, production, and e‑commerce teams.
  • Support treasury, cash management, and banking relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems.
  • Provide support for audits, tax filings, and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA is a huge plus.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience (retail, fashion, or manufacturing a plus).
  • Strong command of US GAAP, inventory accounting, and cost analysis.
  • ERP experience (Net Suite, Quick Books, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, modeling).
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and analytical with a proactive mindset.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in fast‑paced, collaborative environments.
