Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Paramount+

Paramount+ is a direct-to-consumer digital subscription video-on-demand and live-streaming service that features a broad library of original series, movies, and live sports programming from well-known Paramount brands. As part of Paramount Streaming’s Data & Insights Group (DIG) Measurement Operations (MOPS) team, the Sr Quality Assurance Engineer will help ensure accurate data collection across web, mobile, and OTT platforms.

• Capture test requirements, execute test plans, and perform manual testing on web, mobile, and OTT applications to verify analytics implementations.
• Support QA, operational, and administrative needs of the Measurement Operations team.
• Perform regression testing and audits/data-integrity checks to maintain control over site-wide tags.
• Conduct QA cycles and data audits to identify tracking gaps and inconsistencies.
• Perform QA and sign off on new or updated implementations, prioritizing tickets and identifying blockers.
• Represent the team in meetings as a domain specialist on data quality assurance.
• Participate with product and engineering in sprint planning and bug-triage.
• Develop and maintain a robust library of test cases for new and existing features.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and delegator for junior QA analytics engineers.
• Mentor junior team members and manage onboarding and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Promote adoption of QA tools and processes, providing training and documentation.
• Identify and execute opportunities to improve the QA process.
• Partner with the automation lead to build and deploy QA automation frameworks for web, mobile, and OTT platforms.
• Train vendors on validation of measurement, communicating issue status and queue placement.
• Scale the Measurement Operations QA program as the platform portfolio expands.

• Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred but not required) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of manual testing experience.
• 3–4 years of work experience in Data or functional QA of digital products.
• Experience with QA in mobile applications and/or OTT platforms.
• Hands‑on experience using automation tools such as Observepoint, Browser Stack, Selenium Web Driver, Browser Mob, Appium, etc.
• Familiarity with test-management tools such as Test Rail, Zephyr, etc.

• Agile/Scrum experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and various testing methodologies.
• Experience creating detailed test plans and test cases, and maintaining them.
• Ability to define standard methodologies for testing tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for defect triage and stakeholder engagement.

Hiring salary range: $98,400.00 – $ (varies by location).
