Bilingual Business Facilitator (Japanese and English)

Position Summary

As a new team member of 33 USA Inc., you will take on the role of Bilingual Business Facilitator. This position bridges the communication gap between Japanese leadership and English-speaking staff, facilitating interactions with diverse clients. Your understanding of the entertainment industry, especially in film and anime marketing, along with your Japanese-English interpretation and translation skills, will be vital to our success.

Responsibilities
  • Provide real-time interpretation for internal communications across departments (Business Development, PR, Social Media Marketing)
  • Facilitate communication between clients and staff through accurate interpretation
  • Support interpretation during business development and sales activities
  • Interpret at events and conventions
  • Translate Japanese materials into English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Act as a cultural liaison, explaining nuances and adapting marketing strategies
  • Maintain high standards of communication quality and develop industry-specific glossaries
  • Manage social media accounts: create content, translate, engage followers, and analyze performance
  • Support the CEO and COO with English communication, including personal and professional interactions, ensuring confidentiality
Requirements
  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese and English
  • Experience in interpretation and translation, preferably in entertainment or marketing
  • Degree in Translation, Interpretation, Communications, or related field
  • Knowledge of film and anime industries
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural understanding
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and translation tools
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in marketing, PR, or social media management
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and industry trends
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Passion for film, anime, and pop culture
