- Support K–12 school districts and community college clients across labor, employment, student, and governance matters
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, opinions, and legal correspondence
- Advise clients on employment compliance, investigations, employee discipline, and administrative processes
- Assist with grievance matters, collective bargaining, negotiations, and policy interpretation
- Handle matters before administrative agencies as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues in Labor & Employment, Students, and Public Agency Governance teams
- J.D. and licensed to practice in California
- Minimum 1 year of experience, with a focus on labor & employment
- Experience or strong background in public agency, education law, investigations, compliance, or governance
- Strong background in labor and employment matters involving public entities
- Proven ability with legal research, drafting, statutory interpretation, and advising clients on compliance issues
