Litigation Attorney

The Los Angeles office of Kaufman Dolowich LLP, a nationally recognized law firm honored by U.S. News as one of the “Best Companies to Work For – Law Firms,” is seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

• Managing a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Communicating directly with clients and providing regular case updates
• Taking and defending depositions
• Participating in investigations, NLRB appearances, motion practice, and trials

• JD degree with excellent academic credentials
• Admitted to practice in California
• 5+ years of significant experience handling employment litigation matters, including but not limited to employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wage and hour disputes, and traditional labor law matters
• Experience handling employment litigation in federal and state wage and hour cases, including collective and class actions
• Experience handling investigations before the U.S. Department of Labor, the California Department of Industrial Relations, the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, EEOC and other state and local human rights agencies
• Experience appearing before the National Labor Relations Board regarding matters related to union organizing, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, union elections, and arbitrations

Base salary range: $155,000 - $200,000. Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer. Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Base salary represents just one component of the comprehensive Total Rewards package offered by Kaufman Dolowich, which also includes a discretionary and billable hours-based bonus program and a robust benefits offering for full-time employees.
