Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Start Dates: 11/2, 11/16, or 12/2
36 or 48 Hours Available
First-Time Travelers Accepted
MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS
- Active California RN License (in hand at submission)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Experience in a 400+ bed hospital
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
- Travel experience required (first-time travelers considered if criteria met)
- Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan Ganz monitoring experience REQUIRED (Hard Stop)
- Recent Swan Ganz experience within the last 6 months
- Epic experience
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Position Overview
ICU Float Pool RN supporting multiple critical care units including Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, Respiratory ICU, Transplant ICU, Stepdown, PACU Overflow, and MS/Tele overflow units. Candidates must be comfortable floating throughout the organization based on patient care needs.

- Swan Ganz / PA Line monitoring
- Ventilator management
- Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
- Arterial line management
- ABG interpretation
- Dysrhythmia management
- Continuous IV sedation and paralytics
- Central line care
- Chest tube management
- HFNC, BiPAP, CPAP
- Blood product administration
- Emergency medication administration
- IV insulin protocols
- Ventilated patient care
- EKG interpretation and monitoring
Additional Requirements
- Must pass onsite EKG exam during orientation
- Weekend commitment required
- Must work 3 of 5 holidays
- No scheduling accommodations
- Maximum 7 days RTO
- No RTO during first 2 weeks of assignment
- Floating is mandatory

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an ICU RN is preferred, but we are open to exceptional candidates with a strong passion. Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
-Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
-Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
-Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
