Part Time Associate Veterinarian

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing veterinary practice. The ideal candidate is a general practitioner who is confident in providing high-quality medical care, enjoys working as part of a team, and is committed to excellent client communication and patient welfare.

This position is ideal for a veterinarian seeking a flexible, part-time schedule in a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Part-time position: approximately 2 days per week
• Benefits and compensation will be prorated based on hours worked

• Performing comprehensive patient examinations and diagnosing medical conditions
• Prescribing medications and developing appropriate treatment plans
• Providing preventive care, including vaccinations and wellness exams
• Performing general soft-tissue surgeries (spay/neuter and other routine procedures)
• Conducting dental examinations and dental procedures
• Interpreting diagnostic tests (bloodwork, radiographs, etc.)
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
• Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
• Collaborating with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine in California
• Experience as a general practitioner preferred (
