What You’ll Bring

The Opportunity

The Associate performs management‑assigned duties, which may include stocking and maintaining a store section, carry‑out services and store cleaning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment)
• Assure proper pricing on merchandise, check product date codes to validate proper rotation, staff shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated or frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior, exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed by store management.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers by providing current store and product information.
• When requested, load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost or damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
