• Perform work specified in the repair order with efficiency and accordance with dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

• Experience working at an automotive dealership.
• Graduated from an accredited technical school.
• ASE certifications—especially within the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram family (preferred).
• Strong familiarity with the service drive and dealership operations.
• Mechanical aptitude and effective troubleshooting skills.
• Steady hand and strong hand‑eye coordination.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude and a fast‑paced mindset.
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort with diagnostic technology.
• Commitment to learning new repair procedures and evolving vehicle technologies.
• Ability to collaborate, adapt, and grow within a supportive service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
